Hopeful Artwork showing empathy

What can Roots of Empathy teach the world? "To be kinder and to be a better place."

That's what Allie, a grade 3 Roots of Empathy student, told us after sharing this art.

Like 8 year old Allie, children in Roots of Empathy classes feel they are changers. They are changers in their relationships with others as peace builders but they also dream about healing the world. They deserve our respect and support.

Wishes of children for the baby showing Empathy

The spirit of wishing and hoping for others

The Roots of Empathy program inspires children to think of the feelings of others. An expression of this is demonstrated with a "Wishing Tree", where children express their hopes for their 'Tiny Teacher' at the end of their program. This Holiday season we wanted to thank you for your support and share a 'Wishing Tree', and caring that you have helped inspire.
